Tommys - Holiday House

Location

Situated in a unique waterside location, right on the edge of the Fowey Harbour, in the old part of the village of Polruan. The house has a large level patio area including BBQ, and fronting onto the harbour. Private steps gain access to the sandy/shingle beach below at low tide.

Public steps at the rear lead down from West Street to the house, making the property not suitable to people with mobility problems. All bedrooms have harbour views looking up the Fowey estuary. The house includes an off-yard private mooring facility suitable to small boats.

Accommodation

Ground Floor. There are two double bedrooms both with wash hand basins, and a third bedroom suitable for children, with 4 adult sized bunk beds. There is a fully fitted bathroom, a shower room with a basin and WC, and a large walk-in airing cupboard.

Double Bedroom

Upper Floor. A fully fitted kitchen with serving hatch opening up into a large living/dining room. This room has a colour TV/Text and video facilities, and via two sliding French windows opens up onto a full length veranda giving spectacular 'front seat' views across the river.

The Lounge

Shopping. Within easy walking distance of the house and adequate for every day catering and household requirements. There are also two good Public Houses that both provide food.

Walks. There are many beautiful local walks throughout the area.

Ferry Service. Regular pedestrian ferry service to Fowey running to 11.00pm in the summer months enabling visits to the many excellent restaurants and shops there. A car ferry operates all the year from dawn to dusk across the Fowey river at Boddinick.

Car Parking. A large paying car park is available at the top of the hill. Overspill facilities are provided during peak periods.
